It may be for 5 minutes, it may be for 5 hours (I hope not…) But it certainly gets used! Apart from my laptop, I think that I probably spend the most amount of time on my E-Reader. It has been the best purchase in the technological sense of my life, And I can’t honestly say I regret it in the slightest.
A typical day in my Kindle’s life doesn’t involve the charger, I must say. That umbilical cord thing certainly doesn’t connect to my device enough it seems! The reason being is my device always finds itself on the side of the couch or even on the floor when I decided to just lay down there. It seems as though we may purchase nice furniture, for some reason the floor has increased appeal at 2 o’clock in the morning and that is one of the mysteries of the world I suppose! Anyways, For whatever reason, I find my Amazon Kindle dying on me quite often, Especially if I need to download kindle books sporadically throughout the day, then the battery really takes the hit.

However, For Argument Sake, how well does the Nook and the iPad really stack up against our famed e-reading device?
In all honesty, It’s not difficult to see the ease of use that we come to love with the Amazon Kindle. Sure, with an iPad you get alot more functionality, but lets not forget that at the very minimum it costs at least 6 times more! That alone is a deal breaker in my book; One of the biggest pros with the Kindle in my mind is it’s low price tag! For only a hundred dollars or so, I’m reading all my information and have the ability to download kindle books immediately via it’s onboard 3g networking! It doesn’t get much better than that!
A similar argument could be lodged against the Sony Reader as well. Sure, the price isn’t THAT much greater than the Kindle, but every dollar counts in this economy today. If I were to simply stop caring about that money, I probably couldn’t afford this site monthly! That certainly wouldn’t be any good for you die hard kindle fans huh?
At the end of the day, what we have is simple: The Amazon Kindle Reigns Supreme. The Competition has some catching up to do. As far as comparing it to the iPad, It’s like comparing apples to pizza. It’s not the same, It cannot be compared. The Kindle targets a different niche altogether, As does the iPad, and it should be compared as such!

In all honesty, the investment of purchasing an Amazon Kindle and downloading kindle books instead of purchasing massive textbooks and juggling them around as you walk multiple miles in a day just to get to class is an excellent idea. Can you justify spending $xxx just for the latest and greatest technology? In the case of the Amazon Kindle, Which can download books instantly and have you getting your ‘read’ on in literally seconds, I didn’t have that feeling at all.
We’re coming into a new age of technology, An age that is no longer dictated by pricing as much as quality. Now, in the beginning of the early 2000′s, price was everything. After price was power. Now, you can get yourself both power and low price in one shot, and it’s throwing the market into a new direction that is highly beneficial to the consumer. Do I have any problem with that? No, None whatsoever!
In fact, This is the type of change that can truly make us (As the consumer) want to purchase more! By giving us quality and low price, we can indulge ourselves more in the things we enjoy! This can directly impact our economy in ways that the government may not even realize, and I feel that this can help us with our deficit. So in a sense, We’re helping ourselves get out of debt by putting ourselves in debt by indulging on our technological desires! Yay for economics!

Now, I’m not the type of person to go as far as buying subquality books from generic has-been authors; I prefer the full on mainstream stuff! This used to pose quite a problem for me, considering the mainstream ebooks to download are typically EXPENSIVE. Being the owner of a kindle review site based on getting free kindle books, I figured I’d do a review not on a free service, but a one-time-fee website that claimed to offer thousands of e-books for the single time fee of 49.95.
Mind you, I was a little weary of this claim, however I noticed that it had been reviewed on top news sites such as C-Net and CNN, and the reviews themselves were nothing short of raving. So I dished out the 50 dollars, and got started on this site called TheUnlimitedEbooks.com.
Upon joining the site, I noticed a few things immediately. It was in perfect english (Not some cheap chinese site) and it had a MASSIVE selection of kindle books ready to be downloaded to my device almost immediately. I was hooked. In fact, I think in the first hour I must have downloaded close to 30 books. From the time you click the book to the time it’s on your device is less than a minute, and I love it! In fact, I’ve yet to have a single title come up as “not found”.
Some of you may be thinking “Well, that’s 50 bucks I could spend on food…clothing…more books…thats not really an option…”
Ok, lets do some math! Lets say you find absolutely KILLER deals on amazon, and you’re getting your favorite books for the ridiculously low price of say…$3 per book. (This NEVER happens by the way, but play along.) Now, Like I said earlier, I had downloaded 30 kindle books in one hour, so lets say you buy 30 books for 3 dollars a book. You’ve just spent $90 dollars on the same books I got for $50.
The Difference? I continued to download books upon books to my kindle device. All for the 1 time fee of $50.
My conclusion? If you’re ready to start saving some money while expanding your kindle library to astronomically high levels, This is the product for you. If you’d rather pay inflated prices for 1 or 2 books per month, Keep doing it! Just know that you’re missing out on an amazing opportunity.

First things first, We all share the same common goal on this site. We all own or have access to an Amazon Kindle device, and we would all like to further our usage of the device in hopes of getting more bang for our buck. If that isn’t your goal, then I’m afraid this website isn’t for you! I have 3 different ideas in mind for the website, and the direction I would ultimately like to see it take a turn towards, so here they are! Comments are appreciated, as always!
1. I will begin using google adwords to increase site traffic.
The reason for this decision is, simply put, the more people we have visiting, the more of a community will be established, and the more we will all benefit in the long run. The more people we have contributing here directly impacts the amount of information and progress we can make towards new possibilities for our devices. I have begun my campaign tonight, Hopefully it is approved and we can go from there!
2. I have been developing a new product that I will be selling via Clickbank for the sole purpose of convenience, and it IS kindle relevant.
I’m not going to ruin the fun here, nor am I going to try to sell the product by writing up some cheesy rave review. What I will say, however, is that you’d better prepare for a new kindle experience altogether, and your wallet will definately thank me personally. ‘Nuff said.
